Money for green energy in 2025 is on the table, but you need to know how to reach for it. We analyzed 7 specific programs that realistically support small companies from Łódź and the surrounding area. Let's check the specific numbers, because the time for submitting applications starts running out as early as February.
European Funds for Łódzkie (FŁ 2021-2027)
The Łódź province received a specific pool for thermo-modernization and photovoltaics for small enterprises. In the call planned for March 2025, you can recover up to 47% of eligible costs for installations up to 50 kWp. These are not mythical millions, but a real 42,300 PLN refund for a workshop that wants to lower electricity bills. Mój Prąd 7.0 Program – what do we know about the new call?
The new edition of the program is likely to start in the second quarter of 2025. This time the emphasis will be on energy storage with a capacity of at least 7.5 kWh. This is key because without storage, self-consumption in a small company rarely exceeds 23%. If you run a small bakery or a carpentry shop in Łódź, storage will allow you to use the sun's energy in the evening, when the machines are still running at full speed.
The funding is to be around 16,400 PLN for the storage itself, which at current market prices covers nearly half of the purchase of a decent device. We operate on hard data: in 2024, 83% of our partners who invested in batteries stopped paying extra for the night tariff. Just remember that invoices must be issued after the date the call is announced, so don't buy anything in a hurry ahead of time.

BGK Ecological Loan for micro-companies
Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego offers the so-called Ecological Bonus, which pays off part of your loan in a commercial bank. This is a solution for those who do not have 80,000 PLN saved in their account. There is one condition: the investment must bring at least 31% primary energy savings. It can be roof insulation, replacing windows in an office on Piotrkowska or installing recuperation in a production hall.
Applications are point-scored, and the competition in Łódź is significant because our city focuses on ecology. Last year we helped prepare 12 such energy audits. Loans from the Łódź Regional Development Agency
ŁARR on Tuwima Street offers loans for renewable energy with interest rates of 2.8-3.5% per annum. This is a much better offer than in any commercial bank, where APR often exceeds 12%. The repayment period reaches 7 years, which allows a small company to maintain financial liquidity. You can finance 99.2% net of the investment, and deduct the VAT as normal in the tax office.
